I'm a freelance front-end developer based in Jersey City, NJ. I got my bachelor's in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I know how to code and define asymptotic notation for what it's worth. I went into web development because it allowed me to help everyday people express their vision on the web through design and code.
User experience is key to a successful website. My focus is always on creating a balance between design and functionality. As someone with elderly parents, the motto for good UI design "don't make me think" has never rung more true. Design should be fun and interesting, but never at the expense of leaving the visitor frustrated.
